In addition, a significant number of references for pyro processing lines have been established in Europe and the Middle East.   The company’s root and strength within the cement industry is the field of clinker cooling namely the IKN Pendulum Cooler®.   IKN’s initial development of the IKN Pendulum Cooler® started more than 30 years ago. In its early days, IKN revolutionized the cement industry with the development of the clinker inlet distribution system called KIDS®. It has been introduced as an upgrade to existing clinker coolers, but forms today an integral part of the Pendulum Cooler® and has become state-of-the-art in modern cement production lines.   Today, the latest design features state-of-the-art Coanda Wing® technology for optimized aeration and the highly precise and wear-less mobile frame support, the Linear Pendulum Support (LPS®). The modular construction of the Pendulum Cooler® allows for quick and easy replacement of existing clinker coolers or the smooth integration in a greenfield project.   The Art of Pyro Technology In 2002, IKN extended its service activities further into complete pyro lines and is now able to provide excellent know-how and in-house manufacturing capabilities for entire greenfield installations and refurbishment projects.   IKN has started its collaboration with Sweidan Industrial Services in 2009, further enhancing its successful and prosperous business in the Middle East region, by effectively taking care of the customers' needs, and directly conveying the voice of the customer to IKN and in the end forming the link between our respective customers and IKN.    Services and Supplies In the purpose of serving the Middle East Market, IKN has signed a service contract agreement with Sweidan Industrial Services. As a consequence, IKN has stored spares for the critically needed parts in Sweidan Industrial Services' Riyadh Warehouse; to reduce the lead time and deliver the items to the end users as fast as possible.   In addition, IKN and Sweidan Industrial Services are extending their superior capability to the service field. Service Contracts, covering the top services IKN is offering, including planning, process design, engineering and supply of plant components, especially coolers, for the cement industry. These contracts have been extended to the Saudi Market customers in the aim of maintaining excellent performance of the equipment by regular inspections through technical experts. The focus is on preventive maintenance training, conducting regular inspections and audits, as well as identifying and initiating recommendable measures for process improvement. Furthermore, the latest improvements and new developments shall be introduced to the plant personnel in order to keep the relevant plant equipment top performing and always up to date.   IKN and Sweidan Industrial Services' collaboration, in addition to the local warehouse in Saudi Arabia, and service contracts, were established to best serve our customers and to expand our supplier/customer relationship through excellent customer care.   IKN is committed to provide superior products and services - including turn key projects - in a global context.
